Big Mac’s
This is a convenience store on the Sechelt peninsula. It is one of the very few establishments on the coast that sells perfect slurpees. This claim is based on extensive field research. There’s just the right combination of frozenness, and bold natural flavour.
I also like that it is called Big Mac’s and the McDonald’s right over to the right just stands there and takes it. Big Mac’s is from olden times so that may have something to do with it.
This morning I took some photos of R. eating a banana and peanut butter sandwich because it looked delicious and I was jealous. I’d already eaten breakfast and was sort of full (I’m never really satisfied) but I always get food envy for delicious things other people are eating.
But in any case, these banana sandwich shots are apparently the first pictures I’ve taken yet this year. Before the camera allowed me to proceed it made me navigate through a menu where I could set it straight on what year, month and day it was. Pfft! We’ll leave such questions for the philosophers! I pressed buttons until I could take pictures and now my camera thinks it’s 2006, which incidentally is the year I bought it.
